Hello Generals,
This coming Friday night we will try to get some games going.
The points: 1575 and 1000 (if Needed) Late War
Time limit for the game: 2.5 Hours
1000 Point companies can wave one combat platoon. If the company requires 2 combat platoons. You can build it with one Combat platoon. If the list requires 3 Combat platoons. You can build it with 2 combat platoons.
Missions:
1. Surrounded: page 282
2. Dust up: page 282
3. Hold the Line: page 280
4. Encounter: Page 277
5. No Retreat: Page 279
6. Free For All: Page 276
* We will roll a six sided dice to select the nights mission. Please look over the missions in the rule book.
Player Rankings:
1. Will 10 Points (Vet)
2. Vintage Steve 6 points (Vet)
3. Jeff 5 points (New Player)
4. Jeremy 1 points (Vet)
5. Mike 1 points (Vet)
6. Wayne 0 points (Vet)
7. vayhne101 0 Points (New Player)
8. Tony 0 Points (New Player)
9. Temis 0 points (vet)
Rankings based on active players playing a game at the store with a victory point result. The results from Friday night games and Sunday Tank skirmish day at the store will be included in the player ranking.

Il be there for atleast 1 game! ( I haven't played yet but have finished reading most of the rulebook)

I am planning on being there. Are we really going to try to do 1575 point games only? Should I bring stuff to be able to put together a lower point force on the spot? Will we have mostly Axis players so I should bring Soviets instead of Finns?

I will agree with you Steve, lets bring a 1000 point force just encase we need to step the points down for the new players. I will bring my 1575 point infantry company and my 1000 point tank company. I would bring soviets. Will |

Do you need to borrow my plow truck? I would bring a list that could play 1575 and 1000 points. If we keep having more folks showing up. This will be the biggest crowd in a long time on a friday night.

We need Tony to show up with his new German list. That would be a confirm eight players. I assume jermey will be playing germans on his favorite snow table. How fast can you glue the shermans in the open fire box. I will be buying a box when I get to the store early. Can glue some together for tonights battle.

Trimming the sprues would take a bit, but the real pain is getting the right track to line up. It angles severely down & in if you line it up.
I posted on the FOW Forum and it's a common issue. I ended up shaving the inside ridges right down flush.
Apparently it's an old issue with some people hoping it would have been corrected with the Open Fire set.
