The first NetRunner tournament on Saturday Feb 9th at Triple Play. Check-in begins at 10:00 a.m. and the tournament will start at 10:30. If you need help constructing a deck according to tournament rules, please be at the store at 10:00 and we can help you. In order to play you will need to own a copy of the Netrunner base set. The tournament will last until approximately 2:30 including a lunch break. (This is assuming there are eight or less participants)
The format will be constructed. Please bring one Corp and one Runner deck. Make sure that you follow the official deck construction rules (They can be found at fantasy flights web page).
Note: In the interest of keeping the tournament newcomer friendly... We are restricting the card pool to the cards that can be found in one copy of the base set and one copy of the first expansion pack “What lies ahead.” In other words, if the base set only contains one copy of a card, then you can only have one copy of the card in your deck.
I haven’t confirmed with Tony or Shawn about possible entry fees/prize support. If there is an entry fee it will be minimal (five dollars or less). If you have any questions, please respond to this thread.

We generally just do $5 entry for tournaments, which goes into a pool of store credit prizes based on the number of participants.

It looks like some storm weather is heading our way for late Friday/early Saturday. How does this affect the tournament? This isn't a problem for me since I live 5 minutes away from the store. However some people planning on attending may decide not to brave it, if the weather is rough.
For the sake of being organized, let's try to make the call by Friday evening whether or not to postpone the tournament to a different day. If you were planning on attending (or possibly planning on attending) and you are going to stay home due to the weather please reply to this thread.
Thanks,
Andy
