Hello Everybody, I've been studying FOW over the Holiday thanks to the new starter set. I've watched all the Boot Camp videos as well. Is anyone available tomorrow, Sunday Jan 6, for a game to help me learn the basics? I have an 830 British/American Paratrooper Armoured Company as well as a 790 Grenadier Infantry Company. I'll bring both if anyone wants to play one side or bring your own 800-ish list. The Open Fire lists can be downloaded here if you want to take a look at what's included: www.flamesofwar.com/hobby.aspx?art_id=3547Jeff

It will probably take me a little longer to get everything together and get into town. I should be in before 11:30 though.

The germans brought a Fearless trained SS-Panzerkampfgruppe against a British/american Armored company. I had 5 platoons. Hq 2 Panzer 4's. 1 combat platoon of 3 Panzer 4's. 1 Combat platoon of 3 Stug's 2 Recon platoon's of 8-rads 1 platoon of 1 flak36 gun( I forgot to place it on the table to play) 825 points. Jeff fielded 3 platoons along with two headquarter sherman's. Two (3 tank) Sherman platoons and one Paratrooper platoon. It was a slug fest across a stream. I lost my company commander as well as Jeff. The Germans won the day when the Britsh/American force lost two Sherman tank platoons and failed a company morale test. German Casualty's: 1 stug 1 Panzer four British/ American: 2 Fireflys 5 Shermans V 1 Stand of infantry The open fire box is a great starter kit to get you right in the action at Tripleplay. Me and Jeff finished the game in 2.5 hours.
