Hey everyone, I was hoping some of the better Warmachine players around here might be able to help me with my 50 point list. I've never actually made a 50 point list before, and was gonna brew one for next month's tournament.
This is what I was thinking of:
pButcher +6 Black Ivan 10 Destroyer 9 Drago 8 Juggernaut 7 Juggernaut 7 Kayazy Assassins (max) 8 Kayazy Assassin Underboss 2 Great Bears of Gallowswood 5
Of this list, the only models I don't own are pButcher, the Underboss and the Great Bears.
Let me explain some of the thinking behind the list. The basic strategy is to ram as much metal down your opponent's throat as possible. The assassins are my tarpit. The bears are there as a threat to both swarms (backswing) and armor (weapon master and Butcher's fury spell).
One of the main reasons behind this design is that I'm bad with timed turns. The list is designed to be relatively fast to run. Hence only one large infantry unit.
Black Ivan and the Destroyer may be a little out of place, but there are two reason for their in inclusion. The first reason is that I have the models already. The second reason is that they have critical weapon effects, as does every single warjack in this list. I think critical is really good with pButcher because he gives out boosted attack rolls.
Anyway, if you have any comments on the list, I'd love to hear them!

Pritty scary for my cygnar lists to fight. Dealing with that much armor can be hard to deal with.

Scary for my cryx. I can only shut down so much at 50 points. The assassins make a great jam unit. everything is a threat. I think it is a good list. Looking quickly at it I am not seeing too much pathfinder. That may pose a problem against certain lists or on a terrain heavy battle field.

Also, we can practice games using time turns. The only way to get better at times turns is to practice playing games using them.

My only comment is black ivan is not good with anyone else other than harkevich, you're better off with a regular destroyer in its place.

You could take out the destroyer and black Ivan to put in a conquest, you can borrow mine whenever you want. That would help with timed turns too, 1 less thing to activate every turn.

Also Drago is a lot better with Vlad because he has a chance to blow up with any other caster. Poofy's idea is a good one! Take out black ivan, Drago, and the destroyer - then add a regular juggernaut and a conquest.

Drago is good with everyone. Best with vlad. He slaughters everyone. Without focus he can charge, and get 3 attacks. With focus he can do the same but get even more attacks! Then maybe blow up and kill more!

I have no advice other than Ross's suggestion to just run 3 juggernauts and a conquest seems pretty boring.
