Festivus was finished. The once beautiful Festivus Moon was now a ruined cesspool after seven days of the unbridled and wanton debauchery that is Festivus. The three T'Schere leaders were finishing up their final duties and preparing to head to the Orbital Relay Station to return to the capital. The mobile elements of the H'garian PDF were performing their final sector checks. Elements of two Astartes chapters were moving in to begin the establishment of Imperial bases on the moon.
Shock and Awe: Out of nowhere masses of greenskins roared into the city! Warboss Grubbynuts (temporarily leaving his Monody Waaagh in the hands of his lieutenants) himself was leading elite elements of his command in the attempt to seize the T'schere leaders. At his side was his young protege, aspiring Warboss Chobo and his still inexperiences forces. Waves of daemonettes (and other frightening and savage things) came screaming down from the sky above!
One one flank, the PDF forces rallied quickly and began to pour fire into the advancing enemy. Undaunted, the Orks drove forward and returned fire. Quickly almost all of the PDF vehicles were ablaze. The grim Guardsmen disembarked and stalwartly regrouped to face the onrushing enemy.
The Marines rushed to protect the T'Schere leaders and to establish a defensive line in front of the Orbital Relay Station. Everything else was secondary to making sure the T'Schere leaders got out safely.
Suddenly and unexpectedly, TWO Eldar battle groups began arriving to support the Imperial cause! Chaos Space Marines arrived to reinforce the attackers.
Warboss Chobo's force barely got out of its deployment zone when substantial elements (including 3 wraithguard and an autarch) of the two Eldar forces counterattacked and stopped them in their tracks. By the end of the battle, only the Warboss and his personal squad in their battlewagon survived.
In the center a massive melee of hand to hand combat developed as the Marines fought desperately to stem the onrushing horde of Orks and Daemons. Slowly the Marines were pushed back, closer and closer to the Orbital Station. The Marines did manage to reach the T'Schere Cleric and escort him back to the Station. However, daemonettes seized the Scribe and Warlord and began to drag them away.
As the enemy fought their way onto the launching pad itself, the Imperial forces decided that the shuttle must depart with just the one leader. It did so, barely in time as a Soul Grinder bore down on it.
The Eldar and Marines sent forward squads to attack the daemonettes and recapture the other two leaders. Massed fire from Ork Lootas and Noise Marines defeated both attempts.
The enemy extraction ship now appeared and lifted the other two leaders off the surface to begin their journey to a far off hidden high security prison.
The battle was over. But, was the one T'Schere rescued leader the true Warlord who could control the massive defense systems or had the enemies of the Imperium imprisoned that one and opened the T'Schere system for invasion?
The Imperial Shuttle sped to the Capital. The T'Schere Cleric was hardwired into the T'Schere defense control network. And............
The network activated! The true Warlord survived!
Save the T'Schere leader, Save the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
