DCC-New Game

I wanted to start a thread to toss some ideas around for when we can get our next session of Dungeon Crawl Classics up and running. For me personally, the rest of the month is pretty booked up on weekends, however early December is open.

Sound off on what works best for all and we can pick a date from there. I am eager to start gaming again, even after the loss of my zeor level grunts. Now onto the glorious adventures of level 1 PC's.

I talked to Jeff Wednesday (the other Jeff that is... ) And he was suggesting Sunday Dec. 9th. I guess Sundays are the only days Albie can make it?

Sunday Dec 2nd is Ameritrash Sunday. After that I guess it is open?

I would really like to join in...so I will just wait and see.

Besides the Elf, I was thinking of creating a Dwarf and maybe resurrecting my Halfling "Lucky". These would be my spares waiting in the ship until needed... not that anything BAD is going to happen to Cobart again.

I'll print up some 1st level characters from purplesorcerer.com just in case we have any new players (like Rod) or find ourselves "short" on PCs.

Do you have a favorite D&D Class/Race you want me to bring or do you want to roll one up from the book or purplesorcerer.com (look under DCC Tools->Upper Level Character Generator)?

Jeff... I can play any character class... but when I did play D&D I was partial to Rogues, Wizards and Rangers! ;D If you are okay rolling up characters for my first time out that would be great. After they all die in the dungeon...I will create the new ones.

I live in Concord and would love to join the DCC game if you have room for another player.

Unfortunately, while I normally have Sundays off, I picked up a shift on December 9th so I wouldn't be able to make that session.

I'd love to join the next if there's room.

Hey DCC'ers, Unfortunately, due to some work obligations, I won't be able to run on the 9th. Jeff suggested postentially flipping weekends with the Descent group, so we'll keep you posted on the date we can run. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Those fair haired Yankees, what makes them so special? Unless there is a colossal draw of gift giving gamers to the store, then I'm sure we could snag at least 1 table to play at that is slightly out of the way. I vote for the 16th.

Well that's fine, but I have to run the swap. If you all participate, we could just take a break to get some gifts

That sounds like a plan. It would make a good break for gifting and gamer fuel.

It looks like December 16th starting at 11am is the new date/time with an intermission for the Yankee Swap.

With Albie as the GM, do we have all the players from the first adventure coming back? If so, feel free to fill in your character.

Rod is unable to make it this month with the date change. We'll try and accommodate him in January.
