Since it's Halloween, anyone want to play some kind of special Halloween survival game?
We each pick one generic unit (or model if there is enough people playing, play on a 4X4 table, and defend area from a bunch of random stereo typical spooky randomly controlled monsters.

Here’s the rough idea based on a game I played a while back, it was made so that the attacking force doesn’t need a controlling player. I changed it a little bit to adjust for 6th edition.
40k Halloween Survival Game: A group of unlikely allies must rally together and hold of the onslaught of the dead. An untold number of horrors shamble their way to them, neither for conquest nor riches but to devour their courageous stubborn souls. The Hero’s strengths and weaknesses will be what decides their fate on this unhallowed night.
Board Set-up -4X4 table -Heroes Deployment Zone – 12” by 12” square in the center. Outer perimeter will be made up of an aegis defense line or similar sized terrain, but will only offer a 5+ cover save. No buildings with more than two floors and no impassable terrain may be placed inside -Evil Deployment Zone – 6” band around the outer edge designated with sides 1-4 -No Mans Zone will have a basic terrain set up to provide slight cover to Evils advance -Night Fight will be in effect the whole game -Victory condition: Survive? Player Set-up -Each player will pick a single unit troop choice from any legal 40k codex. -Points cost per player may not exceed 300 points, a units model count cannot exceed 20 models, and a different unit must be chosen per player -No monstrous creatures or models with an Armour value may be used -Players deploy last, but will always go first (If we have enough players we can just switch to picking single HQ models instead or if too few we can switch to having combat patrol forces per player)
Evil Set-up -Before the game begins Evil receives a 2 and 3 result from following chart, this is the forces Evil deploys at the beginning of the game. Roll an additional 1d4 per unit to determine which table edge they deploy from. 1 – Evil must muster its forces, nothing happens 2 – 1d6 units of Zombie Cultist made up of 2d6 models 3 – 1d4 units of Ork Lootas made up of 1d6 models with the Fearless, Feel no pain, and Slow but Purposeful special rules 4 - 1d4 units of Genestealer made up of 1d6 models with the Fearless and Feel no Pain special rule 5 – 1d3 units of Beast of Nurgle made up of 1d4 models 6 – 1d3 units of Talos Pain Engines -At the beginning of each Evil turn, including the first, Evil roles twice on the above chart and roles a 1d4 per unit to determine which table edge they move on from. -All models in the movement phase will move towards the nearest visible enemy, if no enemy is visible they will move towards the center of the board. In the shooting phase shoot the nearest visible enemy, if no enemy is visible or they are not in charge range of any visible enemy unit they will run towards the center of the board. All units must attempt to assault the nearest visible enemy unit -All units unless otherwise mentioned do not come with any upgrades, are not slowed by difficult terrain for any reason, and may run in the shooting phase despite any special rules that would prevent them from doing so (Models will most likely be made up of suitable proxies) (Numbers probably should be adjusted depending on the number of players involved)

Sadly we can't have it on Halloween... unless you want to go through hurricane weather?

Man should have known something like that was going on.
Will the other area downstairs be open for gaming?
Also the typus/warptalons thing was a joke at first but the idea of playing seems fun now. Too bad chaos's only deepstrike control method relies on punching someone in the face first.
