Triple Play will be hosting a special Legend of the Five Rings CCG tournament on Thursday, 27th September. This event is part of the Global Storyline Tournament 'The Hunt for the Dark Naga'. Everyone taking part will receive exclusive promos, and the winner will be able to cast a vote that will help shape the L5R storyline!
The format is Age of Conquest (Emperor Edition), with cards from all Emperor-legal sets up to and including The Shadow's Embrace, the newest expansion, all legal, including any promos that became legal during that time. As always. our goal is to allow everyone to compete on as level a playing field as possible, so we will allow good quality proxies of any EE-legal card. Of course, if there is a specific card someone needs, we're more than willing to try and help provide a loaner for the tournament too.
This tournament is just two days before the Onyx Championship at Feeding Hills, MA, so come along and try out your deck beforehand! Expect tough but friendly competition.
The entry fee is $5, and all money raised will be turned into store credit as part of the prize support. Promo cards will also be given out to all participants, and there will be an extra prize for the highest finishing player taking part in their first tournament.
