Gentlemen, I would like to annouce the start of a new campaign.
The Conquest of Atupal.
I hope to luanch this campaign on September 29th at 11 AM (though orientation starts at 10:30). The campaign is divided into four turns called Seasons, which are futher divided into three sub-turns when battles and relic collection takes place.
Each of these subturns are two hours and fifteen minutes each in real time, where the players make battle for the island and plan strategy.
Campaign Saturedays will be held every two weeks (Oct 13th, 27th and Nov 10th) with permission by the stores owner of course, since I don't want to mess up official events. Though I did try and select a schueld that will be advoided a pair of popular conventions.
So onto the game it self. This is some important info that you folks intrested in participating need to know.

Mercenaries & Monsters
In addition to your army, you may select up to an additional 25% of your points for an additional force. This can be either an allied army, chosen from the forces of good or evil depending on which army you play, or a non-aligned force (including Dogs of War). Or a selection of monsters from the Storm of Magic or Monsterous Arcanum books, using the scrolls of binding. These are forces that had chosen to join your army out of common cause or intrest.
Please note that Dogs of War will not be able to join armies from Bertonnia.
If you choose to have an allied army please note that it follows the normal Warhammer Rules for army selection, except that the ally army must have a hero (or lord depending on point allowance) leading it and at least one core unit. Also the Allied army can only be taken in armies of 1750 or more points. To counter act the addition an opposing army is allowed to take an additional amount of troops of equal point’s value (unless the opposing player is also running allies).
So as an example…
Rob has an army worth 2000 points, he decides to take an allied army. He goes with Dogs of War and decides to get a hero, a core unit of pikemen and some duelists. He adds the 500 point addition to his 2000 point force.

The campaign will be fought using the Blood in the Badlands campaign system (see the book or handouts that I’ll provide). Though with the following changes, such as ports acting as capitol cities.
/
Additional Content
Along with the usual scenarios I will present special mini-games and side battles for players interested in them, or maybe as a way to settle some disputes. They are listed below with their names and the effects they have.
Rescue the Fair Maiden- Save a character captured earlier in the game from the vile foe.
Sea Battle- A battle at sea to stop an invasion from an enemy force.
Jousting Tournament- The knights of the various empires are competing for a relic.
The Monument- There is a holy monument that must be protected from destruction from the enemy at all costs. If not able the god’s blessings will not be granted. Before battle a player may attempt to bless a single unit with magic weapons, but if stopped it will be the enemy who may have one unit blessed instead.
Raising the Dead- An army is chased down and into a graveyard, there they find allies with the dead…. A special Halloween scenario or used as the Morgheim Scenario.
