I was reading the PP forums on "gamesman ship" and came across these two posts on divulging threat ranges. - the second is in response to the first. hilarious
First
"Misleading your opponent is wrong, yes, or it could have been that the other person misunderstood the question. However I don't have to tell you how all my abilities interact unless you ask specific questions.
You want to know the maxiumum threat range of a Spriggan under Strakhov? If you ask about what abilities can increase it's movement, I have to tell you that it's base speed is 4, it has reach and bulldoze, gets +2 SPD from Superiority, +4" movement on the charge from Feat, and Overrun lets me make an out-of-activation advance with any model in my battlegroup after target battlegroup model kills something. What I DON'T have to tell you is what they add up to, because there are far too many variables to give an accurate number."
second
"I'm assuming your ability to accurately measure the distance you intend to move the model under any given effect ( including all of them ) means you can give an accurate answer to the question of it's maximum threat range.
Unless... you plan on having all those things go off at once and then just stare at the board blankly, then your opponent, then the board, then your opponent like "I don't know how far he goes, but it's a lot." -moves the spriggan 20" and shrugs- "
