Hey everyone, it's Caleb. I recently found myself wanting to build a Cube for Cube Drafting. What I was wondering was if there was any interest in a weekly/biweekly/monthly Cube Draft at Triple Play.
For those of you who don't know, Cube Drafting is a Limited format similar to booster drafting. The main difference is that instead of drafting out of booster packs, you take bunches of 15 cards out of a 400 (or so) card Cube, and then proceed with the draft.
It seems like a really fun format, and if you have any interest then please post here, so I can know how large to make the cube. (It's about 400 cards per 8 people)

I'd be interested in playing, but I make it to the store so irregularly that I'm not worth considering in your calculations. It is a wonderful format. I have three different cubes at home, though I'm mostly drafting 1v1 with my son. My tribal cube is listed here: forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=410787My regular cube is 360 cards. I have an an old version of it listed here, but there have been many changes to it (most notably the size): forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=201685I also built a near-copy of this cube (maybe 5 cards different) to try out a cube of complete junk, though I haven't had a chance to play it yet: forums.mtgsalvation.com/showthread.php?t=301586If you get a regular group going I could bring in a cube sometime to give you a different set of cards to draft from.

i would also be down for a cube draft. i love limited and a well balanced non-powered cube looks like it would be pretty sweet. Minimum cube size is 360 for 8 people but some cubes go way over that number so that not every card in the cube is available during each draft. That makes it so that people who are used to drafting a particular cube can't just force an archetype every time.
The lower the power level of the cube the more of a skill tester it is. That being said, the junk cube looks awesome, and a peasant/pauper cube could be pretty sweet too.
