Here is my plan for the coming month. I figured that with the smaller point values, we could get 2 games in the first week.
Week 1 (600 Points + 800 Points) Week 2 (1000 Points) Week 3 (1250 Points) Week 4 (1500 Points)
These rules also allow players to play with platoons they might not otherwise due to army restrictions and/or effectiveness in larger games. 600-999 points § No vehicle, plane, infantry or gun team with a AT rating of higher than 11 § No vehicle with a front armor of higher than 7 § 1 Combat platoon instead of the normal minimum amount § Weapons and Support platoons are taken per the normal army list rules
1000-1499 points § No vehicle, plane, infantry or gun team with a AT rating of higher than 13 § No vehicle with a front armor of higher than 9 § Standard army list rules
1500+ points § Standard army list rules
Perhaps for the 600 point game we can still do teams and fight in Will's city. I really thought his river/building lay out was pretty cool.

I was hoping you would suggest that. Will's layout does look great. I will bring my Russian rural buildings so we can fill in some of the brown areas at the outskirts of the city.

Hello all,
I plan on being there tonight with my buildings and map. I have to admit I am a bit worn out. That will not stop the Germans. So how many plan to show up tonight?

The Russians are coming! The Russians are coming!
Will bring my Russian buildings as well.
I have a different list with some "tricks" a la New Steve's post. Problem is they may be tricks on me instead of on my opponents.

Will The game was called on account of darkness and to avoid possible curfew violations it was a tie. Sources in the Allied high command Claimed that the Allies were ahead(two dead German platoons to one Allied) In Berlin Herr Goebbels said that it was all part of a clever German plan.

I heard your Sherman's where in the woods cooking steaks and watching the battle from there lawn chairs. The infantry where wondering "are we there yet?" On the other hand we got the first kill of the game, took no casualties in the battle, led the advance of the allies on the German left flank, and didn't get overrun like the Brave and bold Stuarts and the panzer IVs, and were in postion to turn the flank if the game had lasted one turn longer. The Americans were also the ones who pointed out to their Russian allies that they could buy truck which allowed the to become engaged first

Well, true, those Shermans would have picked off a couple of juicy German AA guns if there had been a next turn and they would have been squarely in the German rear. And you infantry would have been in position to support the sadly depleted Soviet infantry.
In the interest of Soviet pride, I must point out that the brave Russian peasant infantry killed move fascist tanks then those American Ronsons did!

Those Ronsons thought they where at a drive inn movie theater watching a Soviet black and white movie. I guess they where told by Patton to let those Russians fight there on battles. We will be fighting them next after this war.
