I moved to Keene in the fall and have been looking for places to play 40k. Unfortunately in Keene there isn’t much activity. I’ve been going to random stores but the drives are pretty tedious and the game stores don’t really have active forums to communicate on.
Your forum suggest that you actually have a active 40k group and I'd be super interested in knowing if there are certain days people play on.

Saturdays most of us are at the store. Or of you ever want a game on a different day just post here inthe forum and generally at least one person will be down for a game

Are there any common point values played at your store?
And would anyone be up there tonight?

Most of the game I play tend to be either 1500 or 1850... with a 2000 point games from time to time.

Where I used to live we mostly played causal games around 2000. When tournaments came around it usually ramped up to 2500. I really only went lower when I was teaching people to play or when I played team games.
Since I've moved up here I've gone to a couple of low point tournaments, but I'm missing getting to play with all of my toys. Also just being able to play games every weekend.
I'm going to swing by tomorrow. At the very least I can get some new models, the only store in Keene that sells 40k doesn't really have a good selection.

Generally our tournaments will be in the 1500-1850 range with the occasional 2000, in order to keep the day at a reasonable time. As for casual games, anything goes.

My theory is this: if you're gonna go 2500, you might as well go 3000 and play a sweet apocalypse game with titans and explosions and stuff. One on one apocalypse is actually a lot of fun. If you want to get in a game one of these weekends (besides the 11th, when I'll be running the tourney), let me know.

Droofus I'm really not a big fan of Apocalypse. That's actually how I got into 40k in the first place, but recently my interest in it kind of trailed off. Its a extreme example of who ever goes first wins and its just kind of boring to me.
The only time I have fun with apocalypse is when it has teams and drinking games are involved.
Mr I have a wierdly sweet name. The armies I own are Eldar, Grey Knights, and Tau.
