lol drew you'll have to look at the rule book to believe this, but I think we are both right. on page 58 it talks about ordinance barrage there it says you can fire directly and treat it like regular ordinance (where the multiple blast comes in) or you can choose not move and fire the barrage. what's funny is you can still fire the barrage and -your bs if you can see the target (which to me would be the same as firing directly but to them it isn't). this where our confusion is coming from. so there's 2 types of barrage, barrage that can see them, and barrage that can't both ignore cover for intervening models.

I do like the FAQ, but I still find that the INAT FAQ makes more decisions that I agree with. I play Space Marines so the ruling (in the NOVA FAQ) that Shrike's infiltrate does not include another IC attached to his unit does not work for me. All other special abilities that effect the entire unit always include other IC's attached to them. I can't see a compelling reason in principal or in the words of the codex that indicates other wise. The INAT FAQ states bluntly that another IC can join the unit and still use the infiltrate rule. The NOVA FAQ even notes that their ruling on SHRIKE is a change of rules. WHY? It's not like Codex Marines are dominating the tournament scene.
