Anyone interested in checking out Malifaux? More importantly, does anyone know how to play Malifaux? Kaley and I grabbed two starter boxes, decks (which aren't vital because you can use regular playing cards) and a rulebook for just shy of $100. We haven't played yet, but we built our models. Very nicely done models...
The game system seems neat enough. No dice, just drawing cards from a standard deck of playing cards. It's a mixed bag of themes, western, victorian, steam punk, horror, and goth. I picked up some cowboy looking models from The Guild (one of the factions).
So yeah... anyone interested in checking this out?!

Any game with zombie prostitutes is pure win! I want to try it. It seems very cool and has gotten great reviews. I would like to demo it before buying into it. The buy in cost does seem very reasonable! The rules are free to download: wyrd-games.net/node/107?s=650b211e5fa94430fcf10dba94ddf7cfMaybe I could proxy something to begin with?

I would be interested. I have the reseracutionist Samus crew box, but I have never played. I would be willing to give it a shot. The games are quick and I from what I have heard, A lot of fun. Check out the D6 Generation full game review if you want to get a good understanding of the game.

Zombie Samurai Punks! I want 'em just to paint 'em. Do you guys want to try and plan a day in the near future to get together and fire this up? I watched some demos on youtube last night, it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to learn, just very difficult to master. The stat cards are also available for download. They're here: wyrd-games.net/forum/index.php on the left about midway down the page. The rulebook is found here: wyrd-games.net/node/107 in addition to a pamphlet on running tournaments/organized play. Let me know what you guys wanna try and do!

I've played a lot of Malifaux and would be happy to run some demos. It really is a terrific game- pretty affordable and generaally well balanced. Maybe some Wed or Friday night at the store?

I'd have to check with Kaley to see if she can make it up on a Tuesday or Wednesday night. With her current work schedule, I don't think she can, but I'll check. Though as it is right now, weekends are easiest for us.

There is a chance that I could do early on Saturdays. I would have to check week to week because my work schedule changes all the time.
