=( The part about the pariahs had better not be true, as underused as they its still my favorite unit.

and making the destroyers jump infantry is a huge change too I think this could be a good change. As long as I don't have to buy 15 more destroyers. I think, overall, a 5+ save you get from -every- kind of wound without the restrictions of original WBB and at the end of each phase is probably going to be way better than WBB. As long as the Necrons are still LD10 or LD9 and stubborn and have -some- way to survive a charge, I can see it being a lot of fun.

lowering the normal warriors saves makes sense but with immortals troops people will probably just take those and forget warriors existed

But the Immortals are only T4 now, and supposedly require a special character to use as troops. We'll just have to see what actually goes to print... but depending on how much they change, I may not want the army anymore :/

Everyone wanted to get rid of phase out, now that they are, people are of course surprised that they make necrons easier to kill. Gotta think realisticly about this kind of stuff

Unless they get some kind of fearless equivalent, more of them are going to die now when charged due to reduced survivability which makes getting wiped out in one charge even more likely. I'd say thats not really an equivalent trade with getting rid of phaseout.

yes it is, because now it doesn't matter if they get wiped out.

What do you mean? Unless Monoliths are still impossible to kill and scoring, you won't be able to win 2/3 of the missions if your guys are even easier to kill than they used to be.
We'll just have to see what happens in the version that gets printed I suppose.

you're problem is the same one that ork players had when their codex got changed, the army will still be good but so different that you're old strat from the army doesn't fit anymore so you think that it sucks because you look at the new units and are still thinking in terms of the old codex.

Your missing some key stuff here, yes they die easier with the -1T to immortals and 5+ WBB, but think of this: sweeping advance is nothing new to us, we've dealt with it this long we know the tricks. WBB while a 5+ and not allowed for wiped out/fleeing units, Does work for power weps, and looks like it does NOT require a like model in range, if that's true it means more diversity and more symetey. Keep in mind the reconstructor vehicle too.
Next to sweeping advance, the biggest weakness in our army is that its predictable. We only have one or two effective tourny lists that everyone and their mother has seen and learned. Personally I do best when I take what most people consider useless units, because its different, unexpected and ignored in favor of phase out.
With phase out gone sweeping isn't 'as' devestating, and if warriors become 12pts and immortals 17 (while keeping the current gauss blasters) then I think the nerf is to toughness and armor for the warriors is something I can live with, still getting the better end of the deal.
As you said though, we'll see what hits print

Yeah, I mean they're easier to kill but Warriors are 12 points and immortals are 17!
I expect Monoliths to get a bit of a nerfing and a point reduction as well. I'm beside myself with joy that the Veil of Darkness isn't 0-1 anymore though. So awesome...

Looking at the new scarabs and the that he says some of the weapons have the same effect, It looks like we'lll get back our anti-vehicle niche
