Hello everybody,
Last week I picked up AOBR and added a Dreadnought and Tactical Marines to it from Ebay. I'm looking for Thunder Hammers & Storm Shields for the Terminators and someone suggested buying the sprue with just those on it. Does anyone have suggestions (other than Bitz Barn who never has stock)?
Also, I'd like to get the Quad Autocannon from the Aegis Defense Line to magnetise and make into Dreadnought arms for dual TL autocannons. This site has it (http://www.letthedicedecide.co.uk/product/Aegis_Defense_Line_Quad_Autocannon_SCAD007) but is out of stock.

I think the War Store out o lLong Island still sells bits. Also GW has thunder hammer and storm shields available online, if I am not mistaken.

I hate to be a downer, but... good luck! I've been looking for the same thing for some time now. Everywhere is out of stock or pricey enough that I find myself asking if I should just buy the box set.
These are premium items, so even if you do find them on ebay, expect to pay at least $25 for the whole set. At the warstore (which only has stock left because they've raised their prices to match the unrelenting demand) I think they're about $7 each.
GW sells metal storm shields and thunder hammers at a good price (which I think 3play can order for you, correct me if I'm wrong, Tony) but they are lacking the shield arm. That shouldn't be a problem since you can just hack up a storm bolter arm and be good. I usually hate metal with passion (especially combining it with the cool new plastics) but I may find myself ordering them soon.

Thanks for the input. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.
I thought about buying the Terminator box and using the lightning claws for the ones in the box and the Hammer+Shield for the AOBR Terminators.
Is there any real difference between the Space Wolves Hammer+Shield and the Marines set?

the space wolf box only comes with 4 th/ss sprues and that sux and it also comes with space wolf bits to make them space wolfy

But there's nothing wrong with putting them on vanilla marine Terminators? I think I can 3 of these (6 pairs in all) on ebay cheaper than one auction of the regular 5 pair set.
We'll see. It would be less effort to buy the Terminator box from Triple play and make 5 hammer+shield AOBR Terminators and 5 regular lightning claw Terminators.

If your chapter icon is the wolf, it might actually save you some time. Even if it's not, a little knifework should make the shields clean.

In Warhammer, there are a ton of sheilds you can use, and there are a couple of units that use hammers if I am not mistaken.
