So apparently the new Space Marine Codex is released on this day. Can I still use my old codex list in the tournament?

Thats a tough call. If some show up with the new book I cant disallow them from using it. As is will be the newest codex for the army.
So unfortunately you gotta use the new one. Not trying to be a nazi, or force you into a purchase but...just another one of those decisions where not everyones happy.

Not even GW would require the new codex to be used that day. even the ard boyz 2nd round is using the old codex.
but then im not planning on being there on the 4th.
though id actually like to take my smurfs.

Bah.. I care little for the mutterings of dwarves from vermont. First of all, I think you meant "little people" from Vermont. Second of all, Droofus never answered my question about Terminator Heavy Flamer bits. Lastly, what's with the sudden drop in the number of 40k players? Seems like there used to be a lot more people at these tournaments. |

Poofy started judging them and setting everything up last minute,so when I set up 4 tables, pick scenarios, and modify them for 5th edition the night before, I get 4 people.
