LEGION Warmahordes Steamroller Qualifier 04/23

WHEN: Saturday April 23rd. Register at 10am, STRICT START TIME AT 11AM!!! This means that registration will close at 10:45am!

WHAT: Warmachine Hordes 35pt Steamroller Tournament. $10.00 entry fee will go towards store credit prizes, and the TOP FOUR gets to go to the LEGION Warmahordes final on May 21st at Quarterstaff in Burlington!

LEGION is an alliance of northern new england game stores. 3 to 4 times a year, each store that's part of the Legion will hold a qualifying tournament for 40k, Warmachine/Hordes, and other miniature games. The top players from each store will then meet to battle it out and find out who is the best at a grand finale tournament!

This will be using full Steamroller rules, because the final will as well. It is 35pts, bring two lists. Each round is 80+d6(x2) minutes long, with 10 minute TIMED Turns.

I recommend everyone read the Steamroller rules and try to get some practice games in with timed turns.

We're going to be pretty strict, because we want everyone to be prepared for the final.

Yeah... I just picked up some Trollbloods. I always liked the looks of them. I was playing Rhulic mercs for a while (2 months). I like them but they are slow. Gorten is cool but the 4 focus is a challenge, especially for a new player. I do look forward to some games in the new league we are running in April.

Yeah, a low focus score can be hard to deal with. He can be an absolute MONSTER in scenario play though.
