Question on sequence - when a Khador Marauder jack uses its ram pistons, am I correct that it pushes d6 inches, and then the damage is resolved? That would make a difference on where a wreck marker is placed, etc.

is the push a slam attack? I have not looked at the dildozer's card.

No - it says that the target, if hit, is pushed d6 inches and you roll the damage at P+P+S. It is a star attack, so no slam + ram (as far as I know)

I believe all movement effects are resolved BEFORE damage is applied- this is important for determining things like collateral damage from hitting an obstacle. This works the same way for throws, slams, etc.

Yeah I think Will is correct. For example, if I went to slam a model into another model, and the initial attack killed the target, the model that would have been slammed is fine (although it would be cool to chuck a dead body at somebody like that haha)

I'm confused - Will was saying that the victim flies through the air and then dies. You're saying the opposite.

That depends on how you get to the involuntary movement section of an attack. A couple of examples. I don't have my rulebook handy so hopefully I'm not screwing anything up!
1) Slam Power Attack- Make Attack Roll. If successful, model is moved d6 (or whatever) inches. Check for contact with obstacle or larger based model. Make damage roll of STR + 2D6, add +1D6 if model made contact. Throw or Two-handed Throw is similar.
2) Power Attack due to Chain Attack (eg Kodiak or Bronzeback)- Make initial attacks- roll to hit, resolve all damage. AFTER damage has been applied, if model is not boxed or removed from play, resolve power attack. This is the case Tony was talking about- if you are relying on a chain attack and kill the model with your initial attacks you can't make the Power Attack.
3) Power Attack due to Special Attack (eg Marauder)- I don't have the card in front me, but I believe this basically creates a Slam- roll distance moved, check for contact, resolve damage.
