Hi All! I thought I would start a Thread about tournaments around the east coast that might be with range of our tanks...errrrr....I mean scout cars. I have been doing some recon and I have found a game in pougkeepsie new york. This is 2 hours from bennington, and 4 hours(ish) from West Lebanon. If we pool our resources I am sure that some of us could make it there. I can easily get you the halfway point at my hotel in bennington. Details as of now (more as I find them out): Saturday 26 March 2011 $10 entry fee 1750 pts Late War 3 rounds at 2.5 hours each More details to follow, this post will be modified again when I know more. Even closer is the game castle in London Derry NH www.thegamecastle.com/. It is about 75 minutes from Lebanon (although maybe not for Steve in Bennington. Sorry) of course faster if you flog your horses.You go down 89 to 93 then head south to Exit 3 and then 2 to 3 miles to the store They usually run monthly FOW tournaments. On February 6th they ran a 2000 point LW tournament the entry fee is $10 prizes are returned in Store credit. with prizes for placement, sportsmanship, and painting(although for tor those with unpainted or barely painted armies they are cool with that too)l No event has yet been scheduled for March but It probably will be by the end of this month. The Events run about 2 to 3 hours per round with 3 rounds.Its a pretty full day of gaming The biggest tournament I have seen run is about 10. They have a lot of space about 8000 square feet We now return you to your regularly scheduled Broadcast sorry for hijacking your thread Steve |

Post up more Tournaments if you know about them! And Temis, Post up as soon as you know what there next tourny Date is.
Temis, unfortunately you are right. London Derry is about 3 hours travel for me. But I might be able to take some of the Bennington guys with me.

On March 11-13 the Historical Miniatures gaming society(HMGS) will host Cold wars in Lancaster PA (roughly an 8 hour drive from Lebanon, could be more or less it been a while since I did it). This is a really big show about 2000+ people and lots of dealers. Not sure what FOW events they will have but I would guess that they will have at least a qualifier for the National FOW tournament. Last year they held The finals at this groups summer convention. If you have an interest in Miniatures this one the best cons to go to. ;D For more information go to www.hmgs.org |

Well those tricky folks at the game castle have scheduled a Tournament for this Saturday(the 23rd) It will be a 2000 point late war event starting time should be 10pm.

Haven't been but some of the St. J. guys have gone and reported back that it was a blast. Unfortunately for me, this year it conflicts with a trip to Va. to visit some Civil War battlefields.

There is a tournament at Carnage this year 3 round 600 point armys One problem for some maybe that you must have an early war army
This is a qualifier for the national tournament It will run on Saturday 9am- 5pm, November 5th no entry fee(other than the cost of the con) prize support from Battle front
