There is a GPT for Dallas on 2/27 in Cambridge and another one 3/26 in Danvers, MA. Both are about 2-2.5 hours away and standard format. I'm looking to get a carpool together, will give gas money for a ride, because my current vehicle has terribad mileage.
There is also a PTQ for Nagoya, Japan on 3/12 in Charlestown, MA, and that tourney is Extended.
Also interested in putting together a serious playtest group for major tournaments.

Come in on Friday night for the FNM and we can be sure to make an announcement to see if there is any interest. I may have interest in one or the other, I need to see about my work schedule first. Is there a pre-reg or could I just show up on the day? As such, I probably wouldn't drive if there were other options, though I am not entirely against it.
By the way, who is this I'm speaking to? I just like know who is who on the forums.

I have everything i need for the Grand Prix Trial on 2/27 except for 2 Inquisition of Kozilek and a carpool. If anyone has IoK please bring a couple in for FNM and i'll trade them off you.
The GPT will run from 1pm to 10pm. $10 entry fee. The store website states they have space to sit 60+ so we can probably expect rather cramped conditions. Prizes will be 3 byes to GP Dallas and store credit based on attendance. Decklists are required, so make sure you print one out if you plan on attending.
If anyone wants to carpool down let me know. We'd probably need to met up at Triple Play and leave there around 10am. Also, we won't get back til around 1 AM unless everyone in our carpool 0-2 drops.

From the looks of things i may be going down by myself. Bit disappointing but w/e, won't stop me from going. I'll make an announcement at FNM and see if anyone is interested. Last Call.

went 2-2 at gameday with red deck. beat bad decks, lost to tezz and fatties. Working on a MBC right now, missing 2 lili vess and not sure if i should run carnifex demon or abyssal persecutor. Have carnies, don't have percys. Sangromancer is also an option, but i don't think it's a fast enough clock. Also need corrupts, but i should be able to have most of it together by friday.
Almost forgot, took 7th place for a nice shiny foil, full art BSZ. Was talking to the store owner and he said that on 3/27, same day as the TCG invitational qualifier in Cambridge there is an SCG event in Maine.

are they standard tourneys Because I have boro's fully done just waiting for my 2 koth the hammer comming in the mail and most of the meta game right now for winning decks is Caw-blade,boro's,valakut and G/W quest even tho surprisingly Red deck wins took first in Edison this year kind of blew my mind. So march 27th depending on who needs a ride its a sunday so i Am able to go so lets work on a carpool for that shall we?

ok all the tourneys i've listed are standard. I asked Sean to gauge interest in some other tourneys coming up, i believe there are like 4 or 5 back to back weekends. It starts with one this weekend but ive got finals, then it goes to 3/20 in Standish Maine, 3/27 Cambridge, 4/2 manchester, NH, 4/9 londonderry, NH, 4/16 salem, mass and then finally 4/23 is the star city one you have been mentioning.
I'm interested in any of them. i can definitely try to meet up on those days to start testing decks. I've got almost everything for boros right now as well, and i have a decent tempered steel deck going as well that needs to be tweaked.
