That's fantastic. As far as I can remember, the amendment sections have always been empty - until now.
I bet we see more DA players start gaming again.
Also, the Dark Eldar FAQ is the fastest I've ever seen them release a FAQ after a codex release.

I wouldn't be surprised to see more Black Templars either. They got a few boosts in the faq.

Ok, have an FAQ question I want too open for opinion/concesus. I've checked all te FAQs for and haven't found. Eldar: Diresword. For every wound cause the target mist immidiately pass a leadership test or dies reguardless of remaining wounds. Would eternal warrior prevent this? It doesn't specifically cause instant death (which other weapons in the codex do, such as the wraithcannon)

Other effects, such as the diresword or a GK grandmaster's force weapon will work against them.

GK force weapon says model is removed from table, diresword says they die. BIG difference. Eternal warrior prevents stuff from dying from 1 wound.

Okay so I looked this stuff up for you guys to have the actual rules on here to debate over... anywho here it goes, after looking up Eternal Warrior I looked up Instant Death, then the weapons you guys were talking about. What I get from there there is no "removed from table" deal it just says counts as a force weapon, so i looked that up in the Deamonhunter's book too. doesn't mention anything about just simply removed from table, just says slain outright. It describes instant death in the 5th ed book as something getting "Killed Outright, and removed as a casualty" sounds like a Force Weapon causes Instant Death, same as a Weapon with Double the STR of a units Toughness. I also looked up the Diresword real quick to check that, and it reads like it causes Instant Death as well. Based on the description that instant death is anything that causes something to be killed outright. So that leads me to think that the effects of Diresword based on the description of Instant Death in the 5th ed book is Instant Death, just like a Force Weapon from the Deamonhunter's Codex, or a weapon with 7str vs toughness 3, or a Wraithcannon. (Wraithcannons just simply say the words Instant death, but are followed by the regardless of toughness line there)

If a diresword caused instant death, it would say "the model suffers instant death" like the wraith cannon. Direswords simply kill the model if he fails the ld test.
