Okay, so before I link up the pictures here, I have to say this was one of my favorite models I have done so far.
When I got the base model:
it was COVERED in green stuff, and it took 2 weeks in a chemical bath just to get the stuff soft enough for me to pick off with dental tools.
At that point I took a Dremel Tool and filed off and smoothed out a lot of the model, taking a fine grit sandpaper to the rough spots afterward. I then made up the trench coat and his famous hair with some sculpty and baked it right onto the model. Had to redo the hair and trench coat a couple of times to get it to look right.
So I called it for the night, and started again the next day.
I quickly made a small "rock" stand out of sculpty and while that was baking I attached the wire stand to his back, and hacked off his had so he could hold a sword. I also hacked off the regular power sword blade an replaced it with an Over-sized Katana Looking blade made from the spare parts of a home depot gift card... lol
After I attached his one Wing, and placed him on his Temp Rock Stand he's good to go, and get painted.
Sanguinor Converted to Sephiroth, and next to a space marine for Scale. sry for the pore quality photo, camera phone and all...
