Had a great day yesterday! Rode up with Noah and Brad W. Great conversation up and back. A little hairy at times with the weather, but we made it thru. Thanks for the company guys. There were about 40 people there thru out the day. They were from all over Vermont, New Hampshire and Quebec. Started out teaching people Merchants and Mauraders. Then I filled a spot in the Ticket to Ride tournament. 20 people played in that tournament. Congratulations to Rick Scholes who came away with the $50 gift certificate to the Book Garden. Afterwards Bob Menzel taught Alien Frontiers. This is a new indie published game that has been getting alot of hype on BGG. It is does not dissapoint. This was a fantastic game. Later on in the evening I taught another group RA and finally ended the evening learning Elasund: The First City of Catan. I know Noah played the new Civilization and really enjoyed it. There were two marathon games of Battlestar that started in the morning and closed the day down at the end of the second game. They played with both the Pegasus and Exodus expansions. Tyler ran some players thru Gamma World. Other games that got played: Brittania, Founding Fathers, Le Havre, Rattus, Campaign Manager, Ascension, Citadels, Ticket to Ride Nordic, Settlers of Catan, Small World (on the Ipad), Survival, and of course the king of all fillers Dominion! All in all a fun day of gaming. Looking forward to the next GMG game day March 19th in Middlebury.... Spring Melt Down!Rod
