Will - That is the real plan - to drive you nuts by making you change your lists. There really is no Tanksgiving battle at all! The Fuhrer had the same problem - too many list changes. Germans had too many cool toys to choose among. The Americans just had a couple of choices - bazookas and Shermans.

First question: Can I get a Karma upgrade to like 20 cause i am going to need it if want to even think about having good dice rolls....jk lol
Yes I will be doing my best to field 2500 points of a US Tank Company
Here are my other questions:
1) May I field two infantry platoons in the event that i need the points (if so could we make it 2 platoons for everyone?) (I am not giving up my armored infantry platoon, but i would really love to try out my engineers)
2) Planes: are you saying that I can not field planes as part of my army and there for I cant include them in my point total? and if that is the case how does each side field planes, I think i understand how each side puts them on the board. but are they automatic or something?
3) My understanding is that this is late war only correct? if so does any one have any issues if i play my midwar monsters M6 heavy tanks as one of my tank teams?
4) artillery: if we have artillery guns on the table as playable by any side that controls them my I still play my full battery of M7 Priests?
5) Can half track teams count as tanks teams? (not a problem if they cant, they are just my AA)
6) how many companies of what armies does each person have?
Thanks everyone and I am very much looking forward too sunday!!!

I'm (will) with the German force you saw last week. I was playing Temis. FaithandFire is (over the hill) Steve that you played against last week.
This Friday night we are playing only 800 points. You can have one combat company instead of the required 2. Tanksgiving is only going to be tank teams. So bring what you have and maybe Jeremy can hook you up with a second company.

faithandfire - Original Steve shoey109 - Will kv1e - Temis jeremy3play - Jeremy
Jeremy is the voice of authority for Tanksgiving but here is what I think I know:
1. Too late probably to change the restriction to 2 infantry platoons for everyone. Maybe Jeremy would allow a variation for you. Jeremy plays US and German forces and I think he may be doing Germans in Tanksgiving so he may have stuff he can lend you if he doesn't let you do the two platoons. Anyway, he would have to register in on this one.
2. Right, no one takes planes as part of their army. Planes are above and beyond that and handled in a different way.
3. Late War, correct. I have no problem with the monsters but, again, we should let Jeremy rule on that one.
4.Yes, you may bring as much artillery as fits in your list legally.
5. Any team with an armor value is considered a tank team. So, yes, a halftrack is a tank team even with armor values of "0". A vehicle with an armored value of "-" is not considered an armored team.
6. That may change. Right now it looks like Will will bring 2 companies of Germans. Mike will bring 1 company of Germans. Jeremy will have 2 companies of Germans. I will have 2 companies of Russians. Temis has had something come up and will not be there. There is a small chance my brother will come and he has 1 company of Russians. So it could be the Two Steves vs. the World and outnumbered too. But, we will even it out somehow in the end.
Of course, the weather might just spoil our plans too.

With any luck the weather will cooperate. I'm still planning on being there unless the roads are really bad. I'll have lists ready so I can join either side. However, if we were to get full participation it would look like this:
Axis: Mike (1), Will (2), Colby (2) Allies: Steve(2), Steve (1), Jeremy (2), and perhaps a brother in a pear tree.
We'll have to wait and see what shakes out.

Things are looking good I just have to put my army list together and a few more vehicles. Jerky would you mind bringing your extra items just in case? I should be in a good position to vet at least 2000 points but don't have all of the late war thing that count as tank teams. I will see what I have age I arrive tomorrow. I am looking forward to it.

Allies won. But not with a good chewing up by a fair number of king tigers. It was a fun game over all. Possibly considering a different table set up for the next big battle. I learned a lot of lessons as a newer player to the game.

Jeremy, thanks again for all your efforts. Table was great. Lucky for the Allies that we ended when we did.
