I think if tony has a price for ignoring phaseout then it should probably be 3 cans. Or at least two. Just because it is the rule that balances out the necrons nice big shiny awesome stuff.

The Apoc book suggests you don't use it. There is nothing about Necrons that requires balancing in this edition. I would say 1 can or 0, but I'm not the one with final say.

I can agree considering all thE titans being brought, but other then titans their is very little that can handle a couple mono's the nightbringer and a pylon without phaseout.

Thanks to everyone that played today, we raised over 200 cans for the Listen food pantry. I hope everybody had fun today, and I look forward to running one of these every year!

No. Thank you, Tony. I think I speak for the community when I thank you for your organization of our efforts into something resembling an actual club. You've improved both the quantity and quality of gaming at 3play. Granted, your army painting has suffered because of it But such is the price we pay, eh? Thank you. Even though Brian and I delivered mutual destruction (assuredly) to each other by the end of turn 3, I had an awesome time and a lot of laughs. I definitely would look forward to doing this again some time.

I know I did not play...but it was awesome the number of cans gathered for the Listen Food Shelf. Everyone was having a good time when I was there!
Really nice job organize this event Tony! I think you should make it at least a annual event!

Thanks for the good words, everyone! I'm happy to provide some fun for the gaming community.
And Rod, I do want to make this an annual event! Perhaps next year with some extra preparation we can get the board gamers on board too. As Brad suggested, the "Kan O' Whup-Ass" award will remain in the store as a stanley cup esque prize, with the winner signing it every year.

The event was a lot of fun, I hope nobody got mad that 4 titans were stomping around generally causing a ruckus. I have to say though, the worst part of the tournament was wiping out on the side of the highway and totaling my car during the drive back home.
