Charity L5R CCG tournament Sat Sept 11th

Triple Play will be hosting a special charity Legend of the Five Rings CCG tournament on Saturday, September 11th. To commemorate the date, all entry fees will be donated to the Tuesday's Children charity, and more specifically their Project Common Bonds program, set up to offer aid and advice to the victims of terror and violence worldwide. In addition to the tournament, we also hope to offer a raffle and box of greed, again with all proceeds going to Project Common Bonds. We are waiting to hear back from AEG regarding their possible support of this event.

The format for the tournament is Celestial Edition, with cards from Glory of the Empire up to The Plague War legal, including any promos printed during that time. The entry fee is $5, although any larger donations will be gratefully accepted. Store credit will be offered . Promo cards will also be given out to all participants, and there will be an extra prize for the highest finishing player taking part in their first tournament.

New players are always welcome, and we're not talking about a super-competitive tournament anyway. Chris and Devin both did really well at their first tournaments, and the Five Rings players go out of their way to be as welcoming as possible.
