here is how the games will be scored. Of course, if people don't like it they can be subject to change but I think it's a pretty good method.
Massacre: W=20 L=3 (win by 1,000 vps or more) Major Victory: W=17 L=5 (win by 600-999 vps or more) Minor Victory: W=15 L=8 (win by 200-599 vps or more) Draw: 12 for both players
there are also bonus points with each scenario.

Scenario one: Treasure hunt
before the game begins each player reveals what their most expensive magic item is, what it does, and what character has it (Demonic gifts and gifts of chaos count as magic items for the purpose of this scenario). If a player kills their opponent's character with the item then the unit that did the killing picks up the magic item. If the unit is destroyed, then it loses the item. If a player has control of their opponent's magic item at the end of the game then he is awarded an extra 250 victory points.
Battle points
+1 If your general is alive, on the table, and not fleeing. +1 For killing any of your opponent's wizards (any model that contributes dispel dice). +1 For capturing one of your opponent's standards -1 If you have not reduced any enemy units to half strength or less. -1 If all your standards were captured.
Scenario two: Messengers
Before the battle begins take three extra models and they will become your messengers. The messengers have the following profile M8, WS4, BS4, S4, T4, W2, I4, A2, LD9, a 4+ ward save, ignore terrain penalties, cannot join units, are unbreakable, and cannot march or charge over 8 inches.
The messengers must try and escape the battlefield. They can escape the battlefield by each one leaving the board from a different table edge in your opponent's deployment zone (the edges being the two 12" sides and the long table edge). If they leave the table in any way (which includes fleeing, pursuing, and overrunning), then they count as having escaped. For each of your messengers that escapes you will get a bonus 150 victory points.
Battle points
+1 If at least two of your messengers made it off the table via the appropriate table edges. +1 For killing any of your opponent's wizards. +1 For capturing one of your opponent's standards. -1 If you have not reduced any enemy units to half strength or less. -1 If all your standards were captured.
Scenario three: Get 'em Boys
This is just a standard battle with standard victory points.
Battle points
+1 If your general is still alive, not fleeing, and has not fled off the table. +1 If you have a unit at 50% or more of its starting unit size in your opponent's deployment zone. +1 If your highest point unit is still above 50% and not fleeing at the end of the game. -1 If, at the end of the game, no enemy unit is destroyed, fleeing, or fled off the table. -1 If you don't control at least one table quarter.

The points seem fine to me. The first scenario seems like alot of fun as well.

They all seem great to me. The messenger one seems like it may be complicated but should be fun.

One question, what if your army doesn't have any standards? Do you auto get -1 or does your opponent just not have a chance to get the +1.

This could go either way but lets say that if you you don't take any standards in your army list then you get the -1 and your opponent does not have a chance to get the +1

Brian and I played a game. What happens if the most expensive magic item is destroyed? I took the dwarf rune that breaks magic weapons. Does the second most expensive item become the applicable one?

Yeah... The spirit of Grungii was strong last night. The dwarf lord managed to shrug off 10 attacks (8 or 9 hitting) with a daemon weapon. I scored no wounds and then he droppd 2 wounds on the chaos lord AND destroyed the daemon weapon to boot. I then managed to get spanked all around. Chaos Knights failed to wound a single dwarf in the game and a single slayer destroying a hell cannon. (very fluffy to be sure!) It was not a good night for Chaos!
I did like the mission though! Cant wait to play it in April!

lets go with if the most expensive magic item is destroyed then the second most expensive one must be captured. That should make things interesting if anyone brings magic item destroying stuff.

10 am sounds good. I was thinking about Valkia or the Troll King. Are you going to allow special characters on saturday?

special characters are allowed, why not? Just don't go crazy, the special characters tend to be more ridiculous in fantasy.

The troll king is good but not over the top. I am not sure if thats what I want to do. Valkia is almost over the top but not as crazy as teclis, archaon, or the fateweaver. The thing is that most fantasy SC you pay out the butt for.
