Hey... I was up at the store yesterday playing Small World and Touch of Evil with Sean, Steve and Chuck Davis and Sean mentioned trying to start a board game night on Wednesdays. I would be willing to help organize this event, maybe every other Wednesday. ( I live in Springfield VT, so every Wednesday would be tough on me...but hey don't let that stop others!) The store has some boardgames and Carnage (and its members) have many others.
I was thinking of trying to start next Wednesday June 24th. (as long as that is okay with Sean?) If anyone is interested please post here... we were thinking of starting between 5:30 - 6:00pm after the Pokemon League. Any suggestions for games to play are welcome.

I would be interested. I currently have a commitment every other Wednesday so I hope we hit the cycle right! I am free on the 24th. I live in Weathersfield so we could carpool at times if you are interested. We could even meet Chuck at the Hartland Park and Ride.

Fantastic! If people have a new game they would like to see, you can request it and if we have it some where among the Carnage stacks we may bring it up .

Sounds like we would hit the cycle right if we shoot for the 24th and go every other Wednesday? It would then go June 24th, July 8th and July 22nd for the first three.... I am going to post over on the NNEG Yahoo Group as well. See if we can drum up more players.
Carpooling would be excellent. I was planning on picking up Chuck anyways... Weathersfield is right on the way. Just wondering if I know who FaithandFire is?

Amoeba Wars would be cool... I can honestly say I have never played. But any type of boardgame old or new could be played!

We had a good turn out, and played Small World and Agricola. Next time maybe we will pull out Battlestar Galactica, Age of Conan, Pandemic, Ticket to RIde?
