"Gotterdammerung" Capture Hitler and/or be the first to plant your flag on the Reichstag. (Managed by New Steve) (details Below). Looking for at least 3 Axis Players (all german) and 3 allied players (US, Brit, Russian)
Following the Tournament, Roasting, and Awards, We will break for dinner.
Plan on getting briefed the scenario following dinner break and begin deploying your forces. For the Mega Battle bring a 2000 point Late War Tank Company. You may field any options from any Late War Tank Company List so long as you meet the minimum company requirements. The Intent is to have at least 3 German Players, and 3 Allied Players, 1 each from Brits, Americans, and Russians.
The minimum play space will be at least 2 4x6 tables.
The mission will be selected from one of the Version 3 Defensive Battles and will be announced the day of the game. Germany will be Defending and Allies will be attacking. At the Center of the Defenders Deployment Zone will be the Third Reich Capital Building. Whoever has raised their flag above the Capital by the end of the game will earn 3 additional victory Points. The Objects placed from the missions will represent Important Officials and will have a point value based who the Official is. The twist? You don’t know which objective is which official. Capturing the objective will earn you the additional victory points for that official. Objectives are captured per the standard rules.
We will play for as long as commanders and troops can hold out. For the sake of time each side will have 15 minutes for their part of the turn.
Who will hold the capital and own what is left of berlin?!

yes you can run planes. The only restriction to your force is that it is rated as a tank company.

Hmm thats a qood question. My initial response is that planes can not mark the same targets. and the rest of the planes rules and procedures apply.
Pose that on the BF forums and let me know what you get as a response.

Pose that on the BF forums and let me know what you get as a response. There is nothing in rules about it that's why at tanksgiving and other mega games there usualy is no more than one Aircraft allowed on a side. If someone posts they will not get an answer per the rules there will only be suggestions.

Than my ruling at this time is that for planes you can not choose the same target. For artillery you must choose a target and resolve the "barrage" before another player can use artillery on the same target.
For this ruling and example I consider a target to be the contents under the Template (one platoon or "half" of each of two platoons) so Player A and Player B can't choose different stands/tanks of the same platoon as a different target (center of the template per rules). I.E. be somewhat reasonable and don't use it as a loop hole.
E.G. Targets A, B, and C are on the Board. Allied Player A wants to dive bomb Target A, If Player A chooses Target A for his planes then Players B and C can not use Target A as a Target for their Planes. However if Player B wants to use his/her artillery battery on Target A He/she must wait until The Plane attack has resolved on Target A before Ranging in and "shooting".
Additionally if Players B and C want to fire each of their own batteries on Target B then they must decide amongst themselves who shoots first. Lets say they agree to let Player B shoot First. Then Player B must range in and resolve his barrage before Player C can range in and conduct his barrage.
Thoughts? Agreeable? let others in the mega battle weigh in.
Think of this mega battle almost like a combination of risk and king of the hill. You go in with "allies" but if you want to "win" you may have to be the last man standing. You are an ally until you decide not to be. The points and mission were choosen so that we could bring the most to our last game sand still get done/play things out in a reasonable amount of time with a balanced themed Fight. The Reichstag and High Party Officials was to make it different. The idea is to just go in and have fun.
Hopefully your plane situation will be the only serious question.
Let me know if you have anything else.

My tank destroyer company will be fielding a AOP for my Artillery and General Patton. I hope these two options are allowed. My AOP can only spot for my eight 105 guns. I love my AOP.

With Patton there, Will, you are more likely to start shooting at my Russians then those fascist pigs.

I guess you could be right. Then I would not be able to play due to a lack of American armor. Will is knock out before he even started.
