Hello Tank Commanders,
We are getting ready to kick off this campaign in March. I have been busy buying terrain for our campaign. I have purchased six boxes of battlefront hedgerows and woodland scenic trees to add to the battle tables. Jeff Mayo has been busy as well with buildings. Jeff has the Bastogne Church and other very nice looking buildings to add to some great looking tables.
So if you want to play in this campaign. Please contact me or Jeff Mayo. We are starting at 500 points. That is like 3 to 5 tanks to get your self in the campaign. It's depending what side you want to play.

As Will said, we will be kicking off our Tank Aces Campaign soon, starting next Friday the 7th. We will have plenty of tanks on hand for new players to try their hand at, such as German Panzers, Russian T-34's, and American tank destroyers. We hope to see you at the table and please post on the forum with any questions.

What day were you guys thinking? Will and I were planning on playing a regular game for our Historicon practice next Wednesday night. Even though it is board game night, the mini's space is typically open. However, we have already posted for Friday the 7th, and I have spoken with some people who have expressed interest for next Friday. Perhaps two games could be run next week on different days, and you guys could just submit your results to Will & I for overall recording.

I think we can do our tank aces Wednesday night, if that is agreeable to all party's. Lot easier bringing my terrain in for one gaming session. Then time permitting, our mid war match up. That would be four players for tank aces. Just need others to commit if they are new and want to try the campaign. We can be flexible this week.

Wednesday or Thursday night are good in my book. I have to work early both Monday & Tuesday and will be unavailable to game those nights. I have the book with all the Tank Ace's info and I will post that Sunday, so that folks can get a heads up for what you can and can't build for the different tiers of the campaign.

I am running a Tank destroyer company.
Hq: two M-20 scout cars.
C1: 2 M20 scout cars 1 recon jeep. 4 M-18 Hellcats.
I would like to see everybody post a list. We need to get a count of players for next week.
I have downloaded software to run the campaign. It would be nice to get players entered into the software to come up with this week's draw.

As of this time I am unable to game Tuesday through Thursday nights this week, as I have extra shifts that I need to work due to a death in my co-workers family. I can still game on Friday night if anyone is available to, but I will most likely miss out on the first part of Tank Aces, and I am a bumming tank commander due to that news. However, I hope that someone will be able to play on Friday, and then I can hopefully pick up and play again next week.

Tank Aces rules for play:
1st round/week 1: 500 points build -Tanks only force, can use no other units. American TD's are only exception -Any Late War list will work -Can use a different tanks in support list from your HQ -Can build tank lists from any box available to you, not restricted to black box builds -Germans cannot use Tiger ace skills, as your designated Tank Ace will rank up in skills as the campaign progresses
1st week battles will be Scrapyard only mission, which is straight up tank on tank battle. Meeting Engagement, Close Quarters and Fast & Brutal special rules apply. Will should have details of the mission in the software. The battle will be fought on a 4'x4' table, and will include Tacticat Edge Tokens.
Each week of the campaign will progress with more points and units available to battle with. And after each session, you will be able to rank up your Tank Ace. Please post any questions you have, and I will answer them.
Good luck, and I will see you all at the table next week.
-Jeff
