Greetings generals, I am posting to see when is a viable date in January to hold our Battle of the Bulge event. I am personally leaning more towards the end of the month, possibly a Friday night, but I don't have a definitive date in mind at this time time. A Saturday or Sunday would work equally as well.
Please post on your availability and we'll schedule an event from there.

Friday nights probably don't give us enough time to do it justice? Saturdays work a bit better for me in general.

Good call, and that would enable us to get in a good session's worth of gaming. After all, my victorious German forces will need plenty time to party and celebrate their mighty win.

Has there been any thought to what date works for folks? Also, does anyone want to game tomorrow night at the store?

For the Battle of the Bulge event, I am thinking the last Saturday of the month, the 25th. It is far enough out and will give people plenty of time to plan for it. Please post if there is an alternative date that would work better for all.
As for Friday night gaming, I would like to start off 2014 with at least semi-regular gaming. I am thinking of having every other Friday night for FOW? I think gaming for tonight would be a little too short notice, even though I originally posted as such. But, please throw out some ideas for Friday gaming.

Count me in… we Germans started the offensive after all!
(You were referring to the brilliant military campaign and not the post-holiday expansion above the waist, right?)
How many points? Co-opt mega-battle or multiple round tournament? makes no difference to me.
Can we please have Italian allies again? My troops really enjoyed their company as those funny guys passed through on the way to the front lines.

Right now the Italians only exist in FOW for mid and early war no LW , though that may change in the next month or so with the Italian comp coming out from BF soon. If there are Italians then they may be able to fight on either side. By the way BF issued a teaser about what will be coming out early next year and there is a hint that WWI FOW may be on its way, 100th anniversary of the start next August. www.youtube.com/watch?v=A6bKSNNm3UA&feature=youtu.be Jeff I am afraid that Battle of the Bulge is out for me in January things have come up

Temis, I did see that announcement from Flames of War and it looks to be 2014 will be a an era of trench warfare in the 15MM world. As for the Battle of the Bulge, I'm not sure if its going to shape up at all. It seems to me that the month is slipping by with little interest. However, I am still up for playing a Friday night game.
How does this Friday, the 10th sounds for a game? I was thinking Early War build, 1550 points. I realize it is a bit short notice, but please post if you can attend.

Actually Temis, do you want to go Late War and use builds out of Desperate Measures? I have yet to try that book and I'm eager to go with some of the German lists, if you want to run a Soviet company?

EasyArmy has all the Desperate Measures lists up. I do own desperate measures but I would rather run a LW American list(no NGFS or Croks I promise), than a Russian list. Temis

Sounds good, and lets shoot for 1600 points. Anyone else is more then welcome to attend, and just use the above listed build.
See you at the table.
