Hello Generals,
I have talked with the leadership at American Legion post 22 about a early war tank battle on December 7th at the post. They would support us and promote it to members to the post.
It's up to our flames of war club to have a second tanksgiving battle at the post. We can encourage vets to participate and let them command a platoon of tanks. I just need a roll call in our group who would be able to participate.
I would like to have a rep from tripleplay to attend to answer any questions about the game.

I am able to do that at this point. Plans could change.
Just curious - why early war? No US in early war. Maybe that is good, maybe not??

I would say that the attack on pearl harbor dragged us into the war. We can change it to mid war. Maybe that would make it better. Then us pesky Americans can play. Will |

I'd be happy and honored to play. Do you have any idea how many "soon to be FOW" players there will be? Depending on the count we could try and pair up players with vets and do a team game.
Does anyone have a Japanese Company yet? We could recreate an Iwo Jima or Okinawa type game (or even just a generic encounter).

I would also be honored to play that day. I like the idea of a Mid war battle, as it would be more historically acurate for the American involvement. However, I do not believe that any members of our group have any Japanese army pieces to field. Triple Play does not carry any, and they are quite infantry heavy and would take a lot of time to paint up and get ready. I personally have picked up a few Finnish Early war tanks to field an additional army, and I can use German infantry pieces to proxy the remainder that I need. Is there anyone interested in acquiring Japanese forces from our group?

This event is Canceled. Myself and Jeff are working on a Battle of the Bulge event at triple play this coming weekend. This is dependent on space and Jeff talking with Tony.
