The miniature room at Triple Play will be hard pressed to fit an 18 foot table, if at all. I imagine that the Pied Piper of Windsor would want to play on there. In any case I think that playing a large tank battle on a Normandy themed table, with I assume lots of bocage, would defeat the purpose of a large tank battle. Your intelligence gathering on my man cave in the upper valley is wrong. The "Will" man cave is somewhere in Lebanon. I am now the Pied Piper of Lebanon. So get your intelligence officers out of the brothels of West Lebanon and find me. No wonder you lose wars. Bad intelligence. Will

Myself and Jeff have been playing on many table settings to practice for tournament play with our next tournament at Carnage. Then it will be Huzzah 2014 in Portland, Maine. Will

If we decide on Early War I think I can build both a German and an Italian list without proxies (or without many proxies). I could build a Soviet list too but those Soviet early war tanks will look a lot like T34's!!

I can build most of EW Russian tank Battalion I will need some proxies because for 700+ points the list would use 17 T-26s and I only have 13.
I have most of an EW British BAR, not sure if I could make all possible combinations.
And a great deal of EW french company(really only need 75s) Temis

Well, an even split thus far on votes. We will have to wait & see if any other folks chime in.

Well, an even split thus far on votes. We will have to wait & see if any other folks chime in. Well some one has voted, but for MW , With 9 people voting I think it's unlikely that we will get any more. Jeff, I think its time that you end the poll and as our fearless leader make a command decision about what we will play. That's why you get the big bucks oops the aggravation . If we wait until the last minute we likely will not have any other votes and will not be able to do prep work(for example do I paint Rad 8s or some early war stuff)?

Yes, I was planning to post today, figuring that the 1st is late enough for an announcement.
We will be playing Early war.
Prepare the legions of light weight tanks, and see what chaos will ensue.

Hooray, The Polish tank corp will be the first to defend against the Axis aggression. This clash of early war tanks should be a good contest. Those stinking Germans want be hiding behind there armor this year. My front armor of one will deflect all shots. Its a downgrade from two front armor with my Hellcats. Just a smaller gun. So Temis. Will you be playing the French? I want my buddy on my side this year. Keep your enemies closer they tell me. Will

You play where the game master tells you to play. We carry out the plan of the day dictated by Jeff. Then again when we are on the same team. We always have a good record of wins together. When I am pitted against you. Then you know how that turns out. I storm out of Tripleplay like a two year old deprived of his bottle. You sit there and say Will Will Will. You did not have Nap time. I say in baby talk. SCREW YOU TEMIS and that Terrain Nazi Tony. Will

Dear Gamemaster Jeff,
I have a ideal. How about we set up the tables. The tables will be five feet wide by 16 feet long. The Germans deploy in the middle and have a 12 inch deployment area from the center line. The polish and russian players attack first from the east on turn one. On turn three. The british and french attack from the west.. The Germans are to keep a certain amount of points on the west front till turn three. If they draw off the points to counter the polish and russians. Then the french and british get to attack before turn three.

Will I play Red army maybe, maybe not but if I do it seems almost sacrilegious for us to play EW with Russia and Poland on the same side, I am being entirely serious about this, but it's just a thought. ;D Hey Steve could play a Finish armor company on the allied side too.

Finnish Early War armored company? Have to look at the list but I doubt I have enough tanks. Although I could proxy my T-70s.
I will likely use my Italians.
