The End of the First Apocalypse: July 6th

On July 6th there will be at least me looking to play one last game of 40k APOCALYPSE 1st edition.

Here is a suggestion for this mini event. If enough people people show up, we can agree to mix it up to suit everyone's desires.

Basic Rules
Using the basic first edition apocalypse rules with the following conditions.

Board = 8' X 6' (two tables pressed together length wise)
Deployment Type = Vanguard strike
Mission = Both "Purge the Alien" and "The Scouring" (ignoring fast attack rules)

Each player
0-3000 points
0-1 Super Heavy
1 free strategic assist (formations can give you more)




Lets see a show of hands of who is interested.

If it is just us think about anything you'd want to include or change. I kinda posted everything I thought might work for several people, although I could always go higher points wise.....

3,000 is fine for me and usually makes for a good length Apoc battle. I don't have any super heavies, so can I take another stratagem in it's place? 10:00ish?

Only if I get to take my super heavy for free

Although I did just check for every 250 points your total is less than the opponents side you get to take a additional assist.


Edit: or if you want I could just not take one.

I will just take the one asset and you can bring your super-heavy flier(or whatever else you may have around).

I'm going to try and start this around 11am, so if you intend on joining please show up a little before than. If you want to play but will be running late post here and we will wait to start if it won't delay us to much.

I'll probably be getting there around 10am.
