Well then, early war huh? I believe that we'll have to have another side event, with a few extra points, late war, just so the Jagdtigers can rumble their way across the field.

dagnabbit you Temis and your wily ways, . My retribution will be swift and terrible, thou shall rue the day thou trickest me. Apparently, I've been reading a lot of Shakespeare or the like, ;D. It was a little hard to believe an early war Tanksgiving. What would be the biggest tank on the field, a Panzer IV? That would be ridiculous, especially against Will's small and feeble Polish tank forces. Hahaha, just hilarious.

Great night of flames of war games at tripleplay. Me and vintage Jeff had a tank battle with two tank destroyer platoons against a platoon of five panzer fours and a platoon of armored infantry. I lost two tank destroyers and Jeff lost his platoon of panzer fours and 3 halftracks and two teams of infantry in his tracks.. The rest of the game. We dared each other to cross no man's land. I did ink out a 2-1 over jeff.
Temis won 2-1 over the other jeff. So it was a good night for the allies for a change.

The Allies had a nasty weapon up their sleeve, the unethical Crocodiles. Their inhumane treatment of my valiant King Tigers was unjust and clearly in violation of the Geneva convention. General Temis blazed away with slaughter in his eyes, and would hear no pleas for mercy from the brave Konigstiger tank crews, instead he laughed at their horrible demise. This is but a rendering of my brave Tigers and their chivalrous crews in the face of overwhelming barbarism. i983.photobucket.com/albums/ae316/mackajas/tiger_vs_croc9.jpgGeneral Temis, the King Tigers will be back, and will repay their fallen comrades with blood and fire, .

Well played sir, last night and on the forums. It was a brutal struggle, but the only that either of us had for the evening. Too many buildings in the way of getting a clear go at one another's forces.
Until next the croc's and tigers meet.

In retrospect, "Encounter" isn't one of my favorite missions. It's hard to think of any strategy but "Dig In" with having two objectives each (on the back edges no less) and half your platoons in scattered reserves. It doesn't help with us both having Infantry Companies.
Also, with the reports to German High Command of our stunning victories last night, Hitler has personally promoted me from "Club Field Training Officer" to "Field Marshal Von Jeff". A letter was also dispatched to the other commander with a new rank or "Oberst Jeffenspiel". Additional Panzerfausts, Halftracks, and Shnapps have been allocated.

Jeff The Ranking has been updated of your new Titles Field Marshal Von Jeff. The mission was indeed very hard for our two Infantry companies. Stalemate on the western front. Where is Patton's Third army when you need him. Will

Jeff Yes, Encounters is a trying mission indeed. However, after having played Cauldron tow games in a row, I was glad for the change of pace. Having the objectives in the back, as Field Marshal Von Jeff stated, can make for a very difficult going for infantry based companies, which we all run. I am eager to have another go at it though, and to capture the objective from under the watchful Canadian eyes. Alas, with the improved shipments of Schnapps to the front line troops, I fear that my men may be in revolt soon. As the commander, it is my duty to personally test a batch from each bottle, to make sure it is fit for consumption. With a weary heart and heavy hand, I drain yet another Schnapps allotment for the betterment of the overall final victory. -Oberst Jeffenspiel
