With Johns post about a Warhammer Tournament in VT still fresh I want to ask the local players if they will be interested in a 2K Turny in November? If I get five players interested then I will put togeather a tournament folks.
The dates that are still open for the tournament looks to be Nov 2'd, 9th, 16th and 30th. So the more players, and earlier, that say they are interested the better off in the long run you are so that the tournament can fit the players schedule.

the 9th is totally out as that is Carnage weekend. I think there is a GT going on the previous weekend as well.

So gents I've been thinking, I know a dangerous proposition at the best of times, of doing a 'mini' hammer campaign or series of games. I got the idea from this project platoonfire.blogspot.co.uk/2011/11/story-so-far.htmlThat's where they take the army for war games and reduce it down to a few dozen mini's. I've been thinking of doing the same thing... just for WH and with some rules to restrict power gaming (also keeping it low fantasy). I'm More than willing to share my ideas if any one is interested? |
