Hi all, Due to the upcoming snow apocalypse, the Android:Netrunner tournament will not take place tomorrow. Too many people will not be able to make it due to the storm. So let's discuss a new date. There is enough interest so lets hopefully find a date within the next 3-5 weeks. I would like to decide on a new date within the next week - I'm throwing out Sunday March 10th or Sunday March 24th for our "beginner" tournament. And while we are discussing, how about a date for a follow up tournament that allows for multiple core sets? (Using multiple Core sets is actually the official way to play) Let's target late April, early May for that tournament. Please chime in with any date preferences.

I think a saturday offers more flexibility for a tourney so how about the march 9th or 23rd?
For the beginner tourney, 1 core set and all the datapacks up to where it'll be held?? (so 1-2 more than now)
Or another thing, we could do the Netrunner "demo day" on the 9th and so the tourney on the 10th...
All dates in march are good for me except march 2nd.
Count me in to help and to help for the demo day as well

I'm running a Warmachine tournament on the 9th, and would be unable to play Netrunner.
Is the rest of February just off limits for everyone? I would also recommend we consider Sundays.

I'd most likely make Saturdays but Sunday is no good for me.
But, clearly, go with the majority.

We could do Saturday Feb 23rd, if the notice is not too short for people. Is there a Magic tournament that day?

I won't be able to make it as i have an already re-schedule War of the ring game with Robert that was originally supposed to be on the 9 before he "force me " to play the Netrunner tourney Unless he wants to re-schedule again but that will be up to him That won't give us a chance to do a demo day untill then though

What works for you Andy? There is probably not a "perfect" date that will work for everyone. Feb 23rd has the advantage of only being a few weeks from now...we could get the word out. March 9th demo day and March 10th tournament is another good idea. Tony will be able to shed some light on dates that are looking full at the store. With this much interest it sounds like there will be opportunities to run additional tournaments in the future. Rod

Well I have been updating the event calendar consistently for some time now. Its just off to the left on the main Triple Play website. Here is a link. tripleplaynh.com/Events.asp?StartDate=2/1/2013Between Warmachine and Magic Gameday we *might* have room for you guys on the 23rd, but it will be really tight.

Sundays work good for me. Any Sunday except the 10th of March. I might be able to get a Saturday off work in April for the multiple core tournament.

Whoops. Looks like the 6th is the only Saturday in April that I might be able to get off. But that one works for sure. Any any Sunday (except 3/10) for the foreseeable future.

Thanks Tony. I had not realized that you were updating the calandar. Looks great! Lots of stuff going on.... Feb 23rd and March 9th look full. A Sunday may be the answer...at least for the first tournament. Rod

Ok - Unfortunately there are not any days that seem to work for everyone.
So my proposal is the following. Let's aim for a tournament every two months as long as there is interest.
Let's have our 1 core only tournament on Saturday March 2nd.
Preliminary date for the next tournament: Saturday May 11th.
Sound good?
Andy

March 2nd like stated 9 days ago right after you started this thread is the only date i can't make it... and Rod & Bob Manzel won't be able to make it as well as we have a GMG meeting
So no demo day as well?
