I hope no one is too tired of board games afte Winter Weirdness Saturday to play Wednesday? There has been a request for Tzolk'in again this Wednesday. So I will bring that. I have the new "BANG!"... Samurai Swords. Looks alot of fun. Plenty of chaos, just like in bang, only with swords not 6 shooters. Anything else people want to play? see everyone there, Rod

Sorry I am very late for this but it seems like we are going to give another shot to an agricola(+ farmer of the land expansion) game so if anyone have a base game and/or minor improvements cards that would help get a game going on my french version . Hope to see you all tonight, Vic

Sorry Vic. I forgot to bring Agricola. I do want to play it more though perhaps not in French [which is Greek to me.]
I have Terra Mystica, Archipelago, and Stephenson's Rocket.
Would also be glad to play Tzolk'in, Steel Driver, and Village.

Anyone have Myrmes? I'm on the fence about buying it and would like to play it as part of the decision making process.
Tzolk'in & Terrra Mystica are the only 2012 Essen games to break the BGG top 100 so far. The next, Keyflower, is at 270. So, three months into the gaming season I think we can begin to form an opinion about which will be the enduring "hits" and they are both serious brain burners. [Android Netrunner came out much earlier.]
The popularity of brain burning games says more about the BGG community than the sales potential of "modern" games. Even excluding "party" games, there are still plenty of "light" games filling the shelves of most game stores. We should be glad that Triple Play exists for those of us who prefer heavier games. I consciously dedicate part of my game budget to buying off its shelves even though OLGS are less expensive and suggest that you do the same.

Speaking of Netrunner, I will be bringing several decks for those who either want to learn the game or practice for the upcoming tournament.
