I picked up Dawn of War II this weekend and I have to say it is amazing. The graphics, the story and game play are first class. I have played about 15 missions in the campaign. I havent done mcuh in multi player but i hear its good. It is more squad based so it is easier to control. Cover is huge. You get shredded when you are not in cover. THe only prblem is the only teams you can play are Nids, Marines, ELdar, and stinky orcs
If anyone else out there has the game my name is lovelyfeyd on xbox live and windows games online.-Brian

lovely feyd is what baron harkonnen refers to his nephew as in the DUNE book (the best scifi ever written) Yes it is very metrosexual;)
Cool ross we may have to play. I am still in the campaign though. I feel I need a little more practice!

What! No it's not! I challenge you to a combat of champions (my dwarfs v. your choice of models) to prove it!
p.s. No, choice of models does not include 40K Basilisks! Or any 40K models for that matter! I know you were thinking it....

Of course I've read Dune. I just took a glance and this is how it appeared to me: " Lovelyfeyd" I was taken aback by thinking Brian was referring to himself as a "pretty fairy" on the internets. This didn't mesh with my understanding of Brian as the He-Man Womanizer that he is so I felt that I should bring it up!

I was like this with the first Dawn of War. The campaign was fun, but the online was just horrific.
Certain armies were terribly unbalanced, Orks were almost unplayable. That and annoying people who spent to much time reading strategies would have 9 Waveserpents full of banshees before you had more than some Snotlngs, and a couple mobz of boyz ready to go.
UGH....
Ill add you as a friend on XBL. My gamertag is , you guessed it Warboss Zorbag

Ben, there is no base building in dawn of war 2 just warping in units and them fighting. the sides are pretty balanced except that nobz are unstopable, and zoanthropes one or two shot vehicles.

After a Day of downloading (sigh I remember when you bought a game and could install if off your bought CD within moments... good ol' days) I've got Dawn of War 2 too. Not sure if it matters between PC or Xbox, but playing on a PC as (go figure) Deewalla.
