Standard Rules
Missions:

Deployment: Pitched Battle
Primary Mission: Kill Points
-Special rule "He got my head!", independent character psykers are worth TWO kill points instead of one, but if they (not the unit they are with) earn a kill point, it counts as two.
Secondary Mission A: Hold center board objective with scoring unit
Secondary Mission B: Hold more table quarters with scoring units (units must be fully within the table quarter to score, units MAY hold the center board objective and a table quarter)

Deployment: Triangles (draw center line between two opposite table quarters, each side must deploy 12" back from that center line)
Primary Mission: Hold More Seize Ground Objectives Than Your Opponent (5 Objectives, one in the center of table, 1 in the center of each table quarter)
-Special rule: "Comb your beard, I don't wanna hear that ****!", units held in reserve at the start of the game no longer count as scoring units for the primary mission.
Secondary Mission A: Have more units in your opponents deployment zone than he has in yours (Independent Characters and Dedicated Transports do not count towards this.)
Secondary Mission B: Victory Points

Deployment: Spearhead
Primary Mission: Center Board Objective
-Special rule: "I'm ready to beat his ***" non-vehicle units within 12" of the center board objective benefit from both the fearless and rage (!) special rules.
Secondary Mission A: Kill Points
Secondary Mission B: Have more units your opponent's deployment zone than he has in yours (dedicated transports and independent characters do not count).

Standard Rules
- $10 Entry Fee
- 2000 point army lists, using normal force organization charts from current codices. As a general rule, Forgeworld lists are not allowed. We have made an exception for Eldar Corsairs.
- 2 hour time limit for rounds. Warnings given at the hour, half-hour and five minute remaining marks. As this is a 2000 point tournament please make an attmept to maintain a brisk pace.
- Do NOT start a round that you cannot finish.
- No round should start after the five minute warning (though you may obviously use the time to finish up a round that you are already working on)
- While I would prefer that you would work out rules disputes amongst yourself, I will be on hand to be a judge. Beware! If you call me in, you must accept my ruling.
- There are no battle points. This will be a W/L/D tournament, with the top two winners receiving some form of prize. In the event of a tie in record, the first tiebreaker will be number of missions completed. If there is still a tie, then victory points margin in the final round will be used as the final tiebreaker.
- You win battles by completing more MISSIONS than your opponent. There will be three missions per battle, a primary and two secondary missions. In the event of a tie in missions, then a player who has acheived the primary missions will be considered the winner.
- If your army is fully painted, please leave your army set up after the first round, as we will be voting on best painted army. Later I will post them up in this thread to show the world how cool you guys are. If, for some reason, you don't want your army photographed, let me know.
- Prizes will be awarded to first place (Roughly 50% of entry fees in credit), second place (Roughly 30% of entry fees in store credit) and best painted army (20% of entry fees in store credit)
