So whats next on the docket?
Does it have to be a tournament or could we do some kind of event?
Multi-day campaign?
Fake Ardboyz?
Apocalypse game?
Any one got any other ideas?

We could do a gladiator arena type of event in various points classes.
We could use the downloadable rules for Operation Kill Zone and do a kill-team type of event. I recommend Operation Kill Zone because they've done a pretty good job coming up with a balanced and fun set of kill team rules beyond the battle missions book.
We could do some of the goofier Games Day type of things like: Tankpocalypse, (jet)bike races, or if someone had a particularly large horde of mutants/zombies/undead, a last man standing dawn of the dead type of event.

The combat patrol tourney was a raging success. How about another one of those, (only this time with 500 points as the limit)?
If people want to to do a megabattle we could involve the zone mortalis for two players, as they fight to secure a bunker containing a terrible and ancient weapon that can affect the course of the (much larger) battle raging above.

I'd be down for a 500 point combat patrol tourney since I wasn't able to goto the last one, though with graduation on the 9th and doing my annual pistol qual on the 16th, I'd be be likely to miss this one as well.

for my 2 cents, I have a number of new 1850 lists I want to try out ( and I actually have a free Saturday this month, June 23rd) so a regular tournament would be fine with me.

I also like a mega battle with a few different aspects... zone mortalis to gain control of big weapon, planet strike in one section , cities of death in another... etc.

Im so behind have a big mega battle where we have different objectives. Maybe across two different boards, one having a zone of mortalis section. The zone can be used in a non-zone setting to, if can be placed in the middle of a large board and act like a isolated building. With entrance doors and limits on what can enter and what happens while inside. Im really not a fan of planetstrike or another combat patrol tourny though. A 1850 or a 2000 would be okay.

We could plan both a mega battle and a fixed points tournament.

We could plan both a mega battle and a fixed points tournament. Why see no reason why this should not be done

We could plan both a mega battle and a fixed points tournament. Other then the fact that there is rarely two Saturday's free in a month...
