It'll be more like 11AM for me. Saturday morning chores are essential (as is having breakfast with the wife).
I wouldn't be surprised if you've all logged a game before I even get there. Poofy and I were done with one of our games in around 40 minutes, if I recall correctly.

It now looks like we will have our grandsons sleeping over this Friday night. So, if I make it this Saturday it will be in the afternoon. At 2 and 5 they are still too young to try to get them through even a combat patrol practice game. (Although I have already made sure they have plenty of plastic cowboys and indians and yankees and rebels to start them down that path.)
I am wondering if it makes sense at 400 points to pack my 10 strong Sisters troop choice into a Rhino or to just add more Sisters. Any advice??

The added mobility of the rhino will be nice, other wise they would have to march up the board against most armies.

Hey, would anyone mind if I showed up for this tournament? I have an easy 400 points laying around, and would like to play (This is Caleb, if you didn't know).
Additionally, do Necrons still suck at low points? I remember they did last edition.

OK, so after looking at the codex, for Necrons, I decided I'm going to run Orks instead. Would anyone be down for doing a game or two at the same point level as the tournament sometime during the week, to get some practice?

Metagamed, you're certainly welcome to come to the tournament! Sadly, I'm not able to come down to 3play during the week. Hopefully someone else can give you a practice game.
I think you're right to play Orks. Orks are a very strong army at this point value.

I could be free for a 400pt game or 2 this week. When are good times for you?

Pretty much anytime on tues or wed. There is wiggle room other days, but tues or wed would be best.

I'm just wondering but where will the tournament proper be? Up stairs or the basement?

Unless we have a crazy turnout, the tournament will be taking place solely in the basement.

Hey Droofus, I just wanted to give you a suggestion about the missions based on the experience that Jeremy and I had today. One of our two games, Jeremy killed a large number of my units while taking few casualties, but I still won. Basically, we were using the Rescue mission, and at the fifth turn, we each controlled one of the remaining objectives. When we rolled to determine which objective would be removed, it was Jeremy's, and random game length also ended the game that turn. So I won pretty much entirely by winning that one roll. That seems a little odd. It seems like that mission needs to be changed somehow, but I'm not sure what would make it better.
