Which list/Faction do i use on Saturday?

Dark Eldar

The Dark Eldar list would give the Corsairs the most trouble with their speed. Plus I think it would be cool to see some other pointy eared space elves on the table.

Yes we can, drew approved the corsairs list. Im pritty sure that Vinnies list is wysiwyg as he posted in the tourny thread. Im perfectly happy with facing the Corsairs list. It looks really fun to play and is very fluffy.

TriplePlay actually has a history of allowing Imperial Armor on a limited basis. As poofy indicated, I approved the Corsair's list after facing it. I did so prior to the LAST tournament, which Vinnie couldn't make, so I apparently forgot to inform you all on the forums. My bad.

In any case, it doesn't seem to be overpowered or broken. Also, since it draws principally form units taken from Eldar or Dark Eldar, you will be familiar with most of the stat lines. Vinnie also has all the rules on hand and is prepared to explain things in a clear manner (as he did in our game). I'd ask everyone to give it a chance and I think you'll come to the same conclusion I did.

As a side note, I am happy to consider other IA lists/units as long as the person requesting it is willing to play me in a standard mission some time prior to the tournament. Also, you have to have a model.

Which brings me to my next point. I do believe Vinnie's army will be WYSIWYG as per our general tourney requirement. Probably quite a bit better looking than my own, if past experience is anything to go by.

Also: one vote for Dark Eldar. Why mess with success?

I actually know all about the corsair list and was tempted to start one myself. They looked really fun.

As long as everything is WYSIWYG I don't care too much. I don't mind proxying in friendly games. Its just if I'm going to play in a tournament I'd like for people to only field lists they have the models for. None of that coke can being a carnifax or that marine there with a standard bolter is this super awesome model I wanted to play because hes broke kind of stuff.

Edit: The Dark Eldar list looks good Poofster. I'm just not to big a fan of how expensive that dais is. Didn't your list have those random Trueborn?

If you have some of the Tau IA units you should definitely bring them in. Especially if there's some Tetras.

Poofy: I'm all for the Dias if you have Vect's slave girls on it. ^_^

I dont have vects orginal dais, sadlly . The reason I took the dais is because otherwise im putting a 636 point unit into a 10 10 10 raider... not a smart idea. That and vects raider is boss. The freaking thing almost always out survives vect. I took the trueborn out in order to flickerfields on the raiders, and to field the incubi along with an archon. If i hadnt put the flickerfields on the raiders then i could of fielded one squad of trueborn. Which would of done almost nothing. they are really a squad were you need two of them to truly be effective.
