Apparently 40k is celebrating its 25th birthday this weekend.
Was anything going to be happening at triple play this weekend? I got this email from GW saying to check my nearest hobby center.

So let me get this straight, in honor of the 25th birthday of 40k we will be playing Warmachine??
And, if anyone wants to get the GW party started early, you can come Friday night for some Flames of War.

Seriously though, if GW had given a little more advance notice and generated some excitement...we probably would have planned something. But they love to spring surprises on their loyal gamers.

Megabattle anyone? 1500-2500 a person and maybe we could use some simple predetermined missions. Maybe that one from the tournament where the objects randomly disappeared.

I agree, mega battles are too much effort, just some 1500 pugs are ok for me.

I know. And the rossman wants 1500 of them... wow!
Anyway, I'd definitely be down for some regular games. However, we could also play some combat patrol, kill team, or "kill the stompa".
