A planet strike mega-battle would be pretty sweet. I don't like the idea of a planetstrike tournament, simply because someone has to be the attacker and the defender in each mission.

Yeah, it would be just about impossible to make things fair with attacker / defender issue.

Not to mention I would break the doody out of planetstrike with my blood angels. I can charge after deep striking? Hell to the freaking yeah!

If you can assault the turn you come in, so can everybody else

Yes. But blood Angels do it best. Only scattering 1d6 helps keep you in assault range.

And for all them Mordrak haters you know ill be rocking warp quake.
Edit: PS: I hate Planetstrike it was one of the laziest unbalanced rules introductions GW ever made.

I thought the scenarios were really awesome I did too, but after playing it a couple of times if became apparent that the strategies system really sucks considering every game devolved into 2d6+3 Str 9 Ap 3 Ord Barrages before the game begins and then the attacker comes in a kills anything that survived that. Did I mention that during the first turn a additional 4 6X6 square markers are going to drop that cause d6+1 str 9 ap 4 hits. And only the attacker has the ability to deepstrike assault so if the defender reserves it kind of just blows in comparison. Also if an objective is contested the attacker automatically gets it. Also it just sucks.

I just liked the idea of attacking a dug in position or defending one.
