I'm in for the tournament and I quite enjoyed the blitz from last tournament.

I found it interesting and I liked it, the outflanking was a bit terrifying though, I'm just glad I wasn't playing vs nids that round or it probably woulda been an auto-loss on turn two =P

QUEEN-MOTHER OF DIRTY WORDS kill points. That is all. ;D Don't forget that you can concede kill points (or any one of the other missions) and still win a given scenario. A high kill point army (which usually corresponds to high mobility) will have major advantages in the objective and movement based missions of scenarios one and two.

Doesn't have to mean that I like kill points.

Me too! I had 14 at 1500 points. Mainly because I take 3 free kill points for my enemy - I mean, 'Sanguinary Priests' - in one elite slot. I'm expecting 17+ in 1850. Good times

Doesn't have to mean that I like kill points. How dare they put in some sort of downside to min-maxing?!!

Doesn't have to mean that I like kill points. How dare they put in some sort of downside to min-maxing?!! That fact has been redeming of kill points to me as of late. Want to spam a tons of Armor 10 and 11 vehicles, 5 man squads of space marines, 3 man turdface henchman? cool beans, you'll have to table me to win that one.

I don't minmax though. So that's not the reason I don't like them. I understand that it is a good ruleset to have for balance. I just don't like that my raider or sanguine priest is worth the same kill point as say Mephiston or a full paladin squad.

The flip side is VPs where those 2 turns of shooting finally killed that one rhino - oh wait that's only 35 points!
