I have a model I used for fantasy a little but it is a non gw model of a robed skeleton with wings, anyway I'd love to use it as maybe a second C'tan. It's not that tall but it fits on the same 40mm base quite well and it is still fully painted from when I used it before. I know for 'ard boys it is not ok but for is it ok to use it in other t-play tournaments?

Given what the C'Tan does for your list though, I'd be concerned if it was TOO small. I think it would be okay if you had had your regular C'Tan model on hand to 'swap in' to check LOS (or just eyeball it). Otherwise you could just hide that free source of instant-dangerous terrain behind a shrub or something

I would only use him as my second C'tan (they are not unique) and give him powers that help in cc with the intention of not hiding him.
Cover is a non issue since they have a four up invuln anyway.

Word. Then, unless someone else has serious objections, I think you're golden for the tourney on Saturday if you want to use it.

lol at 1500 I am afraid a second C'tan wont be hitting the table.
Edit: I can put 2 in a 1500 point list and it's hilarious.

At 1500 it's a terrible list but at maybe 1750-1850 you could add a lot more balance to it.

I'm all for non-GW models as long as they're about the same size/scale and WYSIWYG. Reaper, Hasslefree, BlightWheel, and many more put out some great 28mm scale figs. Here's mine converted from Chapterhouse Studios' Armana'serq: Eldar Corsair Pirate Princess ~35% GW by volume.

If it was anyone else I would not have a problem with it.

Looks appropriately C'Tan-ie! Or is it C'Tan-ish? I support it.
If you were still willing to do some modifications, I'd just build up the base a little with some rocks or a plinth, or something to give it a similar height as a Deciever or Nightbringer.

The night bringer/deceiver are so tall that modifying the base wouldn't help.

The Ctan models are straight out of 80's hair metal album covers so why wouldn't you want to use them?
