EE booster draft pre-release Thursday 2nd Feb!

Heya folks

Triple Play will be hosting an L5R Emperor Edition pre-release tournament on Thursday February 2nd, starting at 6pm. Participants will receive an exclusive promo, 'Folklore', and will be getting their hands on Emperor Edition cards almost a month before they go on general release!

I'm waiting on confirmation of the entry fee from Sean, but it'll be no more than the cost of four EE boosters. Rares will be redrafted at the end based on final standings.

I am sorry to say that I will not be able to make it this Thursday. I was not able to get the night off from work.

Confirmation from Sean that it will cost $13 for entry. That's under the RRP for the boosters, so it's an even better deal!

Wanted to make it but today's the only day I can pick up my car from portsmouth =(

We ended up with four players and bumped the number of boosters per player to five to increase the card pool. We also used the optional unofficial rule of allowing the player who went second to play a Fate card face down on the first turn as a one gold producing holding.

We played round robin, and here's the final standings:

1st Mark Armitage (Scorpion/Spider) 3-0
2nd Gary Farr (Lion/Unicorn) 2-1
3rd Randall Fenner (Crane/Lion) 1-2
4th Shelby Armitage (Crane/Phoenix) 0-3
